Assembly Guide
Assembling the Oro bedframe without the need for tools is a breeze!
Here are some handy tips to make the process smooth and hassle-free:
Bed Frame Assembly
King
Queen
Double/Full
Twin
Step 1 – Layout the Base Pieces
Inside your box, you'll find:
4 Head/Foot Pieces
2 Center Support Pieces (with additional slotted grooves)
Lay out the base pieces in the order shown, with the center supports in the middle.
18 Slats with 4 Grooves, 17 Slats with 2 Grooves.
**IMPORTANT**
Please lay out the base pieces exactly in the configuration shown above before standing the frame upright and installing the slats. The offset pattern of each piece is designed to create the correct spacing for the slats.
If one of the offset base pieces is installed in the wrong orientation or position, the slat spacing will not align properly and the slats may fit too tightly or unevenly. Double-check the layout before proceeding to ensure smooth assembly.
Step 2 – Join the Center Supports
Overlap the two center support pieces by 7 slots
Ensure the grooves are aligned and overlapping correctly.
Step 3 – Insert Center Slats
Locate the center slats (they have 4 grooves each).
Insert them into the center support using every second groove, as shown in the picture. Orientation matters—refer to the image for correct placement.
**CAUTION PLEASE READ BELOW INSTRUCTIONS**
Due to the natural characteristics of solid Acacia wood, some slats may develop slight bowing or warping over time as the wood adjusts to different humidity and climate conditions in various regions. This is normal and does not affect the strength or durability of the bed frame.
When installing the middle slats, we recommend using the straightest slats in the very center of the bed where all 4 base sections overlap. Slightly bowed slats can still be used perfectly on the outer sections where only 2 base panels overlap, making installation easier and ensuring the best fit.
Step 4 – Add Opposite Slats
Insert the remaining slats facing the opposite direction. These will run perpendicular to the first set and add strength to the base.
Step 5 – Overlap at Head of Bed
At the head of the bed, overlap the base pieces by 4 slots.
Step 6 – Overlap at Foot of Bed
At the foot of the bed overlap by 5 slots.
Step 7 – Slide in Head/Foot Pieces
Carefully slide the Head and Foot Pieces into place and insert slats.
Tip: You may need to gently lift the center slats to guide the base pieces into position. Alignment is key—these slats lock the frame together for a sturdy build.
Step 8 – Complete Center Section
Insert any remaining center slats near the foot of the bed to overlap both base sections. Then complete the top portion of the bed with slats as shown.
Step 9 – Insert Side Slats
Continue placing slats along the outer edges to finish the platform surface.
Step 10 – Final Check
Your Oro Bed Frame is now fully assembled!
Note: The foot of the frame is slightly narrower than the head—this intentional design helps tuck it under the mattress and prevents tripping or catching when walking by.
