Assembly Guide

Assembling the Oro bedframe without the need for tools is a breeze! Here are some handy tips to make the process smooth and hassle-free:
  • Organize Parts:

Lay out all the bedframe components in an easily accessible area, making sure to keep them organized and within reach. The base pieces there are 4 for the head and foot and two for the center support.
  • Follow Instructions:

Lay out all the bedframe components in an easily accessible area, making sure to keep them organized and within reach. The base pieces there are 4 for the head and foot and two for the center support.
  • Secure Slats:

Ensure all slats are securely placed in the grooves. Avoid applying excessive pressure when inserting the slats and ensure they are at a right angle when installing. Slats should slide into position with minimal resistance. Some slats may have a slight curve to them and some pressure will be needed to fully insert. Ensure slats evenly slide into the 2 base pieces.
  • Use Gravity:

Take advantage of gravity by laying the bedframe components flat on the ground or on a stable surface. This will make it easier to align and connect the parts without the need for additional tools.
  • Check Stability:

Periodically check the stability of the bedframe as you assemble it. Wiggle the frame gently to ensure that all connections are secure and there is no wobbling or movement.
  • Double-Check Connections:

Once the bedframe is fully assembled, double-check all connections and joints to ensure they are secure. Check that all slats are firmly secured into place. Add a bit of pressure to fully seat the slats. Give the frame a gentle shake to test its stability before placing the mattress on top.

Step 1 – Layout the Base Pieces

Inside your box, you'll find:
4 Head/Foot Pieces
2 Center Support Pieces (with additional slotted grooves)
Lay out the base pieces in the order shown, with the center supports in the middle.

18 Slats with 4 Grooves, 17 Slats with 2 Grooves.

Step 2 – Join the Center Supports

Overlap the two center support pieces by 7 slots
Ensure the grooves are aligned and overlapping correctly.

Step 3 – Insert Center Slats

Locate the center slats (they have 4 grooves each).
Insert them into the center support using every second groove, as shown in the picture. Orientation matters—refer to the image for correct placement.

Step 4 – Add Opposite Slats

Insert the remaining slats facing the opposite direction. These will run perpendicular to the first set and add strength to the base.

Step 7 – Slide in Head/Foot Pieces

Carefully slide the Head and Foot Pieces into place and insert slats.
Tip: You may need to gently lift the center slats to guide the base pieces into position. Alignment is key—these slats lock the frame together for a sturdy build.

Step 8 – Complete Center Section

Insert any remaining center slats near the foot of the bed to overlap both base sections. Then complete the top portion of the bed with slats as shown.

Step 9 – Insert Side Slats

Continue placing slats along the outer edges to finish the platform surface.

Step 10 – Final Check

Your Oro Bed Frame is now fully assembled!
Note: The foot of the frame is slightly narrower than the head—this intentional design helps tuck it under the mattress and prevents tripping or catching when walking by.
